This update brought to you by Evelyn and Georgia - thanks, ladies!
This week we have been learning about so much in all of our subjects! We have a math test coming up, we are learning about America’s history, and so much more!
In ELA we are learning about civil rights, slavery, segregation and the civil war. We were split into groups to research these topics and then make a group poster to share with the class. We also looked at pictures taken from a long time ago then we made inferences about what they were of. We are learning lots about America’s history.
In math, we have a test on Tuesday. We’re going to be tested on multiplying and dividing fractions, and we’re doing some work with line plots. Lately we have been reviewing what we have learned over the past lessons from this module. And according to Mrs. Kewriga, “you guys are golden!”
In science, we are learning about mixtures and solutions. We learned about conservation of matter, properties of matter, and today we were on this awesome simulator that showed what matter particles do in their various states (Solid, liquid, and gaseous form). Then we recorded what we saw. The matter particle choices were neon, argon, water, and oxygen.
We’re looking forward to another great week next week!
