Last week we went on a hike and used our five senses to hear, taste, see, feel, and smell to observe the nature around us! Our first stop was the platform to sit and write! Next it was off to the stream, where we hopped on rocks and observed the stream flowing with water! And unfortunately Nick and Jay got stung by wasps! The rest of us started walking to the lake where we saw swans and continued writing about our five senses! Later we started our long walk back to school and there our awesome nature hike ended!!!🍂
We also wrote our own fall poems tied to the hike. It was so much FUN exploring in nature. We wrote about fall and our five senses and once again we added pictures too. And now they are all hanging on the “fridge!” 🍁
And for math this week we did our Figure Me Outs! For that we had to write about numbers that are important to us like I have 5x1 people in my family or 6x6-1 pets. They came out spectacular!📓
During ELA we are reading a book called: Out Of My Mind. We really like the book.. It has a lot of character and it shows how a girl goes through life in a harder way.
And that was our weekly update! Hope you liked it!
Sincerely, Grace and Ava!
